Privacy policy

Last updated October 25, 2026.

What we collect

  • Account information: your email address, display name, handle and optional avatar.
  • Content you create: playbooks, bookmarks and saved runs (your answers, notes and progress).
  • Measured activity: counts of playbook starts and completions. These use a short-lived hash that cannot identify you across days. We do not store your IP address or user agent.
  • Billing: when paid plans are enabled, payments are handled by Polar. We store only your subscription status, not card details.

What we do not do

  • We do not show your answers or notes to playbook creators or other users.
  • Progress you make without an account stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
  • We do not sell personal information.

Public information

Your handle, display name, avatar and any playbooks you publish as public are visible to everyone. Unlisted playbooks are visible to anyone with the link.

Remixes and attribution

If someone remixes your public playbook, your name and handle are kept as attribution on their copy. If you delete your account, your playbooks are deleted, but the attribution text already stored on other people’s remixes remains so credit is preserved.

Your choices

  • Edit your profile or delete saved runs at any time.
  • Delete your account from Settings. This permanently removes your profile, playbooks, saved runs and bookmarks.

Cookies and storage

We use cookies for sign-in sessions and browser storage for in-progress playbooks. We do not use advertising cookies. On public pages we use Plausible, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. It does not run on account, sign-in, or playbook run pages. When live chat is turned on, Crisp provides the chat and may store a cookie so a conversation can continue. If someone remixes your playbook, we can email you that a copy was made. That email does not include their answers.
